Lohan’s Lessons

Lindsay Lohan has certainly had her fair share of chances. If you saw her on the movie screen a decade ago you would think she was an angel—a little girl that could do no wrong. That is indeed a far cry from where she is now, in jail. She was put in jail for violating her probation, which she claims not to have understood. Still, one would think that with so many high profile lawyers, she might have looked into it a bit more.
“I am feeling strong,” Lohan said in the September issue of the men’s magazine. “I’ve experienced a lot in my life, and my mom has given me a lot of faith. This too shall pass.”
On July 20, Lohan began serving her 90-day sentence at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif. Fortunately for the actress, she only had to serve 14 out of the 90 days due to jail overcrowding.
As to how this will ultimately effect both her and her reputation:
“Stay true to yourself always,” she told the mag. “At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and be content with the choices you’ve made, and will make, in your life. Go with your gut!”
Lindsay certainly is true about that one. Stay true to yourself–because at the end of the day, not only do you have to look at yourself in the mirror, you have to be able to handle how other people see you. The Internet is a good picture of this. People can put whatever they want on the Internet without any fear of repercussions. After this episode, Lohan is going to need Celebrity Reputation Management to heal the reputation wounds.
